Our fun-filled 9-week summer camp will include activities ranging from physical activities, language, and art. All activities are included in the summer program.
Summer Camp Activities
Creative Activities
Art is a form of expression and natural activity to support free play in children. When children create something by exploring and manipulating different mediums, they develop their fine motor and cognitive skills.
Art is an excellent way of self-expression and a creative outlet that can help relieve stress and encourage artistic expression to facilitate learning. We offer an art session for 90 mins daily as part of the daily schedule. Here the children, with the help of our trained staff, engage daily in different creative activities.
Physical Activities
Physical activities play a vital role in the development of a child. We offer a Gymnastic class and a Taekwondo class every week to keep the children engaged and active during summer, and this is other than the daily outside time. The children are delighted when they are engaged in physical activities as the body releases endorphins. Endorphins put us in a better mood, and exercise also prompts nerve cells in the brain, improving memory and concentration in children to boost their academic performance.
Math
Mathematics is the most beautiful and powerful creation of the human spirit.
— Stefan Banach, Polish mathematician
Math helps children develop critical thinking. It is widely believed that a child’s math knowledge at the start of kindergarten predicts later academic achievement better than early reading or attention skills. We offer a math session of 45 mins daily under the supervision and guidance of our teachers.
English
English
“Today a reader, tomorrow a leader.”
– Margaret Fuller
We offer an English session of 45 mins daily to help the children improve their reading and comprehension through different activities.
Spanish
Spanish
“To have another language is to possess a second soul.”
-Charlemagne
We offer a Spanish session once a week to help children gain some basic Spanish conversation skills.
STEM
STEM
“Curiosity is the wick in the candle of learning.”
– William Arthur Ward
Children are curious by nature and love exploration and experimenting. Once a week, children will engage in a hands-on STEM activity where they can explore and experiment to learn about different STEM-related phenomena.
